BLOG 3: Hello Powtoon!
Hello people, it's me again! Today’s topic regarding with experience using Powtoon Application for the first time. This is my new experience exploring this application. Powtoon Ltd. is a British company which sells cloud-based animation software for creating animated presentations and animated explainer videos.
Actually, the name "Powtoon" is a portmanteau of the words "PowerPoint" and "Cartoon". For this semester, we took subject Internet Technologies as for Learning Language. As part of the assessments, we were instructed to learn on how to use Powtoon as it is one of the task in this subject. I think this application is one of the efficient tool and there were a lot of features and techniques that I have learnt throughout this application.
You can select from a variety of pre-made films and presentations on the website. Each of them is simple to update, and you can add or remove things such as animations of cartoon people or simple drawings of items. When you first download a presentation, it displays a tutorial that walks you through the process of using the website. This is a handy tool for first-time users like myself, as locating and using certain functionalities might be difficult. However, after you've learned it, you'll be able to make the necessary changes to any slides. This application come out with prices for premium features. It is quite affordable for everyone to purchase.
To conclude, I think Powtoon is very friendly user and easy to use. That's all for today's post.
