BLOG 6: Review on Podcast
Hello people, welcome to my space! Today, I will talk about podcast’s review. If you haven't noticed, podcasts have become more and more popular in recent years. This audio content format gives listeners additional flexibility to consume information or entertainment whenever and wherever they want, including when commuting, working, exercising, paying taxes, and other activities as the world gets busier and people are more likely to multitask.
Podcasts have been one of the a digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series. In this entry, I have reviewed one of the famous podcast in Malaysia which is known as Magdeline Wang. Magdeline Wang has never focused on just one thing, from being a top finalist in the Miss Universe Malaysia 2012 competition to hosting a brand-new podcast. Her podcast is known as “Head Over Heels” which focusing on “Women Empowerment” what it means to be an Asian woman in the current world, addressing topics including body image, societal problems, mental health concerns, and more. It strives to provide a secure environment for women to openly discuss their personal challenges and everyday struggles, which is sure to elicit both laughter and tears, perhaps both at once.
Maggy claims that the podcast's guests, talks, and subjects are all open-ended. Maggy intends to broaden the scope of the Head Over Heels podcast, which has already addressed a variety of subjects. In this podcast, the topic is "Dear 20's, I wish I knew...." She stated that age is just a number and e get all that jazz, but turning 30 can be quite daunting, even more so when you grow up amongst unforgiving Asian values towards ‘expired women’. With that, Maggy comes forward with 30 takeaways she learned throughout her journey. It’s a lot of ups and downs, so grab a cup of tea, coffee, or your favourite kombucha, you’ll want to get cozy for this one.
